Just My Luck! Read On!

Oh wow! What a day it has been for me!

It opened with a good morning wake up call from my digital alarm clock, playing my favorite song =). a nice shower, and a very light bag (first time–my school bag use to be heavy on a tuesday). anyway, i was on my way to school when i saw a really cute guy sitting across me in a jeepney. Anyway, we didn’t talk except for: "palihug"—something you say when you want someone to pass the fare to the driver. Short and sweet! Just the way i like it! hahaha!

Anyway, when i got in school, i was shocked to see over 8 guys wearing pink barong with guitars, and bandurias. i was like: "huh?! are they going to play a song for me?!–woohoo!!" but no, heehe! they were for someone else. So anyway, i went straight to the Seminar Room 1 where me and other schoolmates are supposed to meet the ambassador of the United States of America (the reason why there were a string band in the entrance), Mrs. Kenney. Oh wow! What an honor!

I was pretty stiff on my seat while trying to formulate questions to ask in the open forum. I was kind of agitated because I never thought i would be talking to someone who has been given high and exceptional regard from other people, and not to mention, other countries. All of us were actually. You can see people tapping the table restlessly with their pens, checking how they look on the mirror from time to time, popping in breath mints, in deep thought, tilting on their executive chairs and stuff. –what a sight!

We all stood up when she went in. And oh my goodness! I didn’t know what to say. She is really pretty and fit. WOW! And she is not like any other government representative. She is so down-to-earth and cool. It’s like talking to a long time friend. She was amazing!

I even got to answer a question! heheh! of course, i was unconsciously thinking about McFly. But hey! because of that, i was able to ask a question! hahahahah!! (MORE POWER TO MCFLY, AND MAY THEY HELP ME IN MY UPCOMING FINANCE COMPETITION!!! haha!) Anyway, my question involves the UK foundation called Comic Relief. It’s a fund raising foundation that uses talents in the entertainment industry. That includes comedians, actors, and bands to act as "ambassadors". McFly is one of the many. They are even in Uganda right now helping the less fortunate! cool huh? and the official song of Comic Relief is sung by McFly entitled All About You.

I could see that Madame Ambassador wasn’t so familiar with Comic Relief. But she was able to relate it to the United States. and yes, entertainment is a medium to get in touch and strengthen that bond between the USA and the Philippines. coolies ei?! (thanks McFly) wahahaha!

The picture is still with my classmate since it was her camera. But nevertheless, i’ll just upload it when i get my copy.

Whoops! it’s dinner time for me so i have to go. I still have to pack my sister’s food unless i want her to go hungry! The day is still going well—It’s just my luck! =)
