Home Sweet Home: to bore or not to bore?!
Okay! I’m finally in my hometown! Here at the very small island of Leyte, a city at the north called Tacloban City.
There are a reasons why i like to be home and why i don’t like to be home. I like to be home because: One, i get to see my mom, and my dog. Two, i get to eat homecooked meal, specially prepared by my Mom. Three, i could use the computer whenever I want. Four, i get to charge my iPod, and phones for free (the dormitory charges for charging use–how redundant). Five, I got TV, DVDs, VCDs. Six, i get reunited with my best buddies Danny and Dougie! ahah! Danny is my piano, and Dougie is my violin. Six, i get to be myself!!
But there are reasons why I don’t like to be home. One, I get to take the stinky medicine that my mom gives me. It’s supposed to make me healthy (and SICK!!! Barf). Two, I don’t get to have my own room. Three, I have 2 big drooling dogs that could never stay put (we have three dogs by the way–one is mine–he is the nice one. His name is Sanzo). Three, there is NO internet in the house!!! my mom had it disconnected since no one was using it. Crap!! That’s why I am here right now at Netopia, paying just to check my mail and do stuff on the net. On second thought, i also pay when i am in Cebu. But it sucks big time when you are in the comfort of your home, and you got no internet!
Anyway, so what have i done lately? I really didn’t do anything much. I’m more like a bum when im at home. Oh yeah! I’m starting to write a short story again (something i didnt do for almost 3 years now). It’s entitled "More than Anything". Although, im not sure if I’m going to let anyone read it. No one read my works before. I think i burned them after i wrote them. I got this really weird habit of burning my work. I wrote over 10 stories in the past. And i burned them afterwards. I don’t even remember the titles anymore for crying out loud. Hahahah!!!
So….I’m really getting bored. I’m waiting for my mom’s text so i can leave. But anyway, while im here, i might as well share my awesome boredom with all of you who are reading!!
when i’m bored, i really got nothing to talk about. so im just typing whatever i have in mind…let’s see…right now, im wearing my really really old blue shirt, and jeans that i haven’t laundered for 4 days already (talk about hygiene); Im yawning 4x in one minute—roughly; Im staring at the monitor, i’m typing, and listening to Suede’s Beautiful Ones in imeem.com. Oh wait. i changed it to something by my favorite band!!! —McFly. really. you’re a dumdum if you haven’t noticed. ;P
Of course, I’m not going to be narrating why i like this band because i already did (if you read my previous blog posts). But anyway, im so bored i could tell you all over again!!! [if you can't take it, better close this blog entry]
Here goes…McFly is a band from the United Kingdom. They took away the title of The Beatles as the youngest band who ever had a #1 with their debut album in UK. The band came out like 2-3 years ago. I’m not so sure (omigosh!!! im not sure!! have to research). Anyway, they are Tom Fletcher (guitarist, vocalist), Danny Jones (my love–guitarist and vocalist), Dougie POynter (hottest man alive–and he is just my age–bassist), Harry Judd (drummer). Tom and Harry are 21 years old, Danny is 20, and Dougie would be turning 20 this november (wee! we are born in the same month. 20 days after me).
They are pretty big in UK, and in the states. not much in this side of the world. I came to know and like McFly because of the movie Just My Luck with Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine. it’s a chick-flick, romantic comedy movie..it’s cool! i like it. but i liked it even more coz McFly was on it. I thought they were actors at first but turns out that they are this wicked band (i started to like saying wicked). And thats when i went nuts over them! they got great songs (they write their own songs..but also do covers), and great looks. these guys are FIT! hahha! i got loads of their songs in my iPod and have been listening to them since January! i got most of their music videos…or probably all…and some of their TV guestings in UK. all thanks to Mouse Potato! thanX bro!
anyway, it would really take me 10 pages or more to tell you about these HOT Brits! and i’m really not that desperate. my fingers are starting to hurt. so is my brain. hehehe!!
I will be back in Cebu next week to do some stuff for our PFS. and then, we will be heading to Manila, then Singapore, then Hong Kong. woohoo!! i definately deserve this vacation!!! haven’t done that since i was in 4th grade! yahoo!!!
I have to go. my head is starting to spin. i’ll bore you more some other time
