Just yesterday, I received the news that one of my favorite English bands, Son of Dork, split up (nope, not McFly, i would have died and never would have written this blog if they did). 2 minutes later i heard from Ex-Busted, and Son od Dork’s frontman, James Bourne that they are going forward as a band, without David Williams (the guy who posted in Son of Dork’s myspace that they are splitting up, and he is taking over the account, and starting a new band–bleach blond hair in black). And then, all of the sides started to come up. I read the updated blog of David when he explained why he is leaving. He is not just a fan of being stagnant and not doing anything for the past few months when a band is supposed to be doing something. James is in the States, and the others could be just taking five.

Then again, Steve came out and explained stuff. they are ACTUALLY doing something. James, Chris and himself are writing songs (independently..i think) for the band, and for other artists (bless), and somehow, it’s David who didn’t get the whole point of it and decided to just leave, in return, stirring up commotion!

I don’t know whose side I am on now but i LOVE this band the way it is/was. i hate these accusations and all the more the fact that David is not in the band! He turns out to be my favorite in the band, and here he is, leaving one of UK’s top bands and starting his own. yes, i am more than torn, i feel like im ripped into pieces.

Why is the band starting to be like this???!! I think the pressure rests on James. People are starting to blame him. He was in a band that split up few years back (BUsted—yes, they were busted when big-guy with Oscar the Grouch’s eyebrows left for FightStar, and i still am a Busted fan), see how hard this could be for me? it’s pretty frustrating. I look up to these guys in someway, and this happened. I woke up finding their myspace completely bombarded with rant from fans and ex-fans, their individual accounts totally messed up with a lot of "What Happened?" and a whole lot of cursing.

poor them…. they are stuck in loserville. am i still a fan? yes, i still listen to their music but it’s frustrating to do so. I am just waiting to see how this is going to fall into place. Son of Dork promised the fans a second album (NO DAVE), and Dave on the other hand is looking for a new set of band members. whoahh…bitter….

My head is totally messed up listening to their sides. One of the most confusing times of my life. What bums me out is I never saw them together. It’s going to be a whole lot different without David. are you kidding me? that guy can rock his guitar! one of the best that ever hit my iPod! heheh! I wanna laugh this out. It’s starting to take over my system. Whatever it is, God has a plan for these two bands.
